Mitchell E. Ignatoff, Biography
Mitchell E. Ignatoff (Mitch) was born in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1951. He
attended high school in New York where he received a Regent’s
Scholarship.
He went to Colorado College where he graduated with a BA in 1974 and
then went on to attend the University of Tulsa College of Law and became
a member of the Law Review.
After graduating from school, Mitch became an attorney with the
Veterans Administration in New Jersey and New York. Mitchell
began private practice in 1986, concentrating on criminal
defense, plaintiff’s negligence, representation of professionals before
professional boards, alcoholic beverage control, traffic and drunk driving
offenses, and residential real estate.
He became Certified as a Criminal Trial Attorney by the Supreme
Court of New Jersey in 1996, and obtained an LL.M in Trial Advocacy
from
Temple Law School in 1999. He is licensed to practice law in New York, New
Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as the Second Circuit and Third Circuit
Federal Courts of Appeals, and the Federal District Courts in the Eastern
District of New York, the Southern District of New York, the District of
New Jersey, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has offices in
New Jersey and Philadelphia.
